How do I
RSVP?
Please refer to the unique link(s) on the mailed event invitations. Please be sure to include the names of all guests you are responding for. If you need additional assistance, please reach out to Saikiran or Shelby directly.
When should I RSVP by?
Please RSVP by August 1st, or as soon as you know whether you are able to attend. If you need to make changes after this date, please reach out to Saikiran or Shelby directly.
Do I need to RSVP if I'm not attending?
Yes, please submit an RSVP even if you are unable to attend. This helps us tremendously with event planning!
How do I let you know if my plans change?
Please reach out to Saikiran or Shelby directly as soon as possible.
Attire
What should I wear to the Temple?
Dress Code: Colorful Formal
Please do not wear white, black, or red if possible.
​Both Indian & American style formal attire is welcome! This includes kurtas, sherwanis, veshtis, sarees, lehengas, salwar kameezzes, suit (with or without tie), and long cocktail dresses.

Please note a portion of the ceremony will be held outside and it may be warm.
What should I wear to Boojum Tree?
Dress Code: Colorful Formal
Please do not wear white.
​Both Indian & American style formal attire is welcome! This includes kurtas, sherwanis, sarees, lehengas, salwar kameezzes, suit (with tie), cocktail dresses, and evening dresses.

Please note that the ceremony will be held in the shaded outdoors, with an outdoor dance floor in the evening after dinner.

How is the parking at the Temple?
​There is ample parking at the temple in the paved parking lot, along with several handicap reserved spots.
How is the parking at Boojum Tree?
There is plenty of parking for guests in the dirt parking lot at the venue, along with a few handicap reserved spots. There are not parking space lines, so please be sure to park mindfully to ensure there is enough space for all guests
What is there to do in Los Angeles?
As the 2nd largest city in the US, the list of things to do in Los Angeles is endless. Guests may also want to explore nearby Orange County​. Outdoors you can visit the beach, hike Fryman Canyon Trail, or have a shaded picnic at The Getty. If you'd prefer to stay in-doors to avoid the heat, consider seeing a movie at the famous Chinese Theater, visiting the California Science Center, or touring Griffith Observatory. Attendance is usually lower in September, making it a great time to visit local theme parks like Disneyland, Knotts Berry Farm, or Universal Studios, but be prepared for the heat!
What is there to do in Phoenix?
December is a great time for outdoor activities in Phoenix! Consider visiting the Desert Botanical Garden, Phoenix Zoo, or Camelback Mountain. Phoenix is home to several major sports teams and many notable museums including the Heard Museum & the world's only Global Musical Instrument Museum. If you have an extended stay, you may look into driving several hours North to visit the Grand Canyon, hike in the Sedona red rocks, or for skiing/snowboarding in Flagstaff.

What kind of food will be served?
Shelby and Saikiran are both vegetarian, and all served items will be vegetarian. Vegan and egg-free options will be available. We appreciate everyone who has different food preferences accommodating our wishes! If you have strict dietary needs outside what is listed, please send a message to Shelby or Saikiran so we can ensure you are taken care of.
Are children invited?
If included on your invitation envelope, then yes! If you are attending the Phoenix wedding, please note there are water features at the venue that require additional supervision of children for water safety.
Where is the event schedule?
A detailed event schedule for both the Los Angeles Temple Wedding and Phoenix Boojum Wedding will be shared with attendees closer to the events.
Do I need to arrive on time?
We strongly encourage guests to do their best to arrive at the stated start time listed on the invitation, to take full advantage of all the surprises we have in store for you!
